SanVincente Ferrer Church
From an improvised chapel made of bamboo and coconut husks in 1912 to the present day simply constructed yet frequently visited St. Vincent Ferrer Church, the devotion began in Lipa City. The people's deep faith brought to the establishment of the parish where their masses could be celebrated every Sunday. St. Vincent Ferrer parish was then erected in Bagong Pook, Banay Banay right after it was chosen as the seat of the parish. The church was then renovated with Father Gaudencio Rosales who had been appointed parish priest by Bishop Alejandro Olalia in 1917.
Inside this church, Little St. Vincents (Kids dressed like St. Vincent) are noticeable. This is because of their “panata” or strong devotion to the said Saint, the patron of the builders.
